József Törley started his sparkling wine house in 1882 after receiving training in the Champagne area of France, introducing the traditional bottle fermentation method to Hungary. For more than 140 years, Törley has remained the preferred sparkling wine for Hungarian celebrations—ranging from royal courts to modern festivities. The Chardonnay Brut is the house's top offering: a single-variety sparkling wine that showcases the purity and finesse of Chardonnay from Hungary's cool Etyek-Buda region.
