Bock Villanyi Bock Cuvee
"The wine that launched a dynasty"
HK$505.00
The Story
The Bock Cuvée is where the family legend began. The 1991 vintage of this wine won the Champion Prize at the Vinagora International Wine Competition in 1994 — the moment that transformed József Bock from a passionate amateur into one of Hungary's most celebrated winemakers. Today, the Bock Cuvée remains the estate's most accessible expression of Villány's character: fruit-driven, approachable, and irresistibly drinkable. The 2017 vintage, with its warm, dry growing season, delivers exceptional concentration and depth.
Winery History
The Bock family has been growing vines in Villány since 1850. The 1991 Bock Cuvée's Champion Prize at Vinagora in 1994 launched the family to national prominence, leading to József Bock's Winemaker of the Year award in 1997. The estate now farms 150 hectares of prime Villány vineyard land.
