Apatsagi Pannonhalmi Tricollis Rosé 2023
The blush of a thousand-year-old vineyard
HK$105.00
The Story
The Tricollis Rosé is a masterclass in blending — four noble varieties from the Abbey's three historic vineyard slopes, unified into a wine of remarkable elegance and freshness. The Benedictine monks approach rosé winemaking with the same meditative precision they bring to all their work: patient maceration, gentle pressing, and cool fermentation to preserve the delicate aromatics of each variety.
Winery History
The Benedictine Archabbey of Pannonhalma was founded in 996 AD and is one of Hungary's oldest and most sacred institutions, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Winemaking has been central to monastic life here for over 1,000 years. After Communist-era confiscation, the Abbey revived its viticultural tradition in the 1990s, opening its modern winery to visitors in 2004.
